Unlock code help
Bought "Unlock All Missions" in your browser and need your code, or something didn't go as expected? Answers below โ or skip straight to the bottom and email us.
Where's my unlock code?
It's in the email from Rocket Cadets ([email protected]) with the subject โYour Rocket Cadets unlock code ๐โ. That email is the durable record: it works weeks or years later, on any computer, even if you've cleared your browser or wiped your hard drive since. Check spam or promotions if it's not in your main inbox. (Stripe's separate receipt email is your proof of payment, but it does not contain the code.)
Your code looks like RC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX โ the RC- prefix, then 20 letters and numbers in five groups of four.
How do I enter it?
Open a locked world in the app โ that shows the paywall screen. Tap "๐ I have an unlock code", answer the quick grown-up question (a simple math check, since buying and code entry are adult actions in a kids' app), then paste in your code exactly as it appears in the email. Every world opens immediately โ no reload, no waiting.
Re-entering the same code on a browser that's already unlocked never uses up an activation โ only a genuinely new browser or computer counts against your limit (see below).
I can't find the receipt email
Purchases are processed by Stripe, our payment provider โ Rocket Cadets never sees or stores your card details. Your receipt comes from Stripe on behalf of Meno Data AB and includes a link to view it in your browser. If you can't find it: check spam and promotions folders, search your inbox for "Stripe" or "Rocket Cadets," or see Stripe's help center for buyer-side receipt guidance. Still stuck? Email us (address at the bottom of this page) with the name or email you paid with, and we'll look up the order and resend your code.
How many computers can I use one code on?
Up to 10 browsers or computers โ plenty for a family desktop, a laptop, a school Chromebook, and room to spare after clearing your browser data or getting a new machine. If your family ever genuinely hits that wall, email us and we'll reset it โ no questions asked. It's a courtesy limit against casual code-sharing, not something we expect a real family to bump into.
Refunds
Refunds are handled through Stripe, our merchant of record โ the exact terms (including EU digital-content withdrawal rules) are shown at checkout. And beyond whatever the fine print says: if something's not right, email us and we'll make it right. If a purchase is refunded, that code stops working on any new browser or computer going forward. There's no remote "kill switch" that reaches into a browser and revokes access it already has โ the same honest, client-side approach we use for the iPad app.
I bought it on the App Store โ do I get the web version too? (Or the other way around?)
One family, one purchase. Buy on the App Store and it covers iPhone and iPad. Buy on the web and it covers every browser on every computer โ Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook. If you've already bought one and want the other, email us your receipt and we'll unlock the other side, free.
There's no account system linking the two automatically โ no email or password to sign into on either side โ so this isn't something that happens by itself. It's a promise we keep by hand: send us proof of purchase, we'll sort it out, usually within a day.
Does my progress carry over between the app and the browser, or between computers?
No โ XP, badges, finished missions, and the code your child has typed all live on the device or browser where they were earned, and don't follow your child anywhere else. That's not an oversight: it's the same "nothing leaves the device" privacy design as the iPad app, applied to the web. No cloud profile of your child exists anywhere to lose, sell, or breach โ the trade-off is that starting fresh on a new browser means starting fresh on progress, even though your unlock travels with your code.
